A massive thank you to all of the wonderful residents who helped out today, as well as those who donated materials such as timber and planting. Your efforts are greatly appreciated by all.

Unfortunately we did not have enough volunteers to get all of the tasks completed but we achieved a significant amount.

If you have time in the next week, you can help by simply weeding flowerbeds around your street or making sure plants and flowers are watered. We still need to complete the weeding along Dodderbrook Rise, as well as painting the now stripped gates at the front of the estate.

Today –

We weeded the crèche in phase 1
Completed the area on the Avenue to include, planters, insect hotels, bird houses. (Make sure you check out the different vegetables we are growing so kids can see what can be grown at home)
Weeding along Dodderbrook Rise
Stripped the paint from the kissing gate in preparation for painting
Weeded attenuation ponds
Replanted planters throughout the estate

It’s everyone’s efforts that keep Dodderbrook looking great. Continuing to host clean up days will ensure we keep the estate well maintained for years to come. Get involved whenever you can and let us know if you need help with any tasks.
