What’s on in Dodderbrook this weekend

Friday 28th October

WEEE Recycling Collection. Please leave your items for recycling out no earlier than 6pm Thursday evening.

The collections will be made between 9.30 and 11.30am on Friday outside the crèche on the Ave and at the vacant site on the Ave. Areas will be marked.

Monday 31st October

12pm – 2pm Spring bulb planting. Please bring gloves and any garden tools you have. The more volunteers the quicker we get these planted. Meet at the bridge.

6pm – 9pm we will be hosting mini bonfires, some drinks for all, a mummy wrapping contest, bobbing for apples, hot dogs and more! Please stay safe and supervise kids around the fires(these will be supervised for the evening). Fireworks are not permitted.

7pm outdoor cinema – Hocus Pocus

From 5pm – Ballycullen Food Bank collection @ 13 Dodderbrook Glade. Please remember – non perishable food only and where possible boxed or bagged.

Pumpkin carving contest

A new take on this contest this year. Please take a photo of your pumpkin carving and submit to dodderbrook@gmail.com. We’ll post all of the entries on the website and winners will receive a boozy gift!

Last but not least –

Please remember to stay safe this weekend, we encourage residents to avoid fireworks which terrify pets and have scared children in the estate in the past.
