Bin security strap guide

A big thanks again to all who paid their subscriptions and for supporting the Residents Association.

In the coming days, those who have paid will receive a security strap for your green bin.

This strap is to allow you to secure the lid on your green bin during windy periods to prevent rubbish blowing through the estate. We advise this strap only be used when necessary.

Bin companies are mostly familiar with these straps and support protecting litter from blowing away.

Below is a simple how to guide for your strap.

Ensure you extend the strap to its maximum length, this can be adjusted later.
The strap comes with stickers to secure it to your bin. Just make sure the surface of the bin is clean so that these adhere properly.
Securing to the lid and the side of the bin, the button allows a quick release even with gloves on.
