Seasons greetings to all.

Over the coming weeks please keep a few things in mind…

At this time of year burglaries are on the rise.

• Lock all windows and doors
• Keep alarms on even when your only out for a short period
• Inform a trusted neighbour if you are going away for a few days
• Use timers or smart lights.
• Make sure side gates and sheds are secured properly.

These might seem like simple things but every bit helps. If you see any suspicious activity please report it to the Gardai immediately. Additionally if you hear someone’s alarm sounding, don’t ignore it, call for help.

Again please remember that many will have visitors over the next few weeks. Please ensure guests do not block footpaths with cars and to use guest parking spaces where possible.

Unfortunately this has been another year of restricted social gatherings, we hope that in 2022 we can celebrate some events together.

Finally the Dodderbrook Residents Association AGM will be held in the new year and we ask residents to consider joining the committee. We will keep you posted once we have more information.
