A friendly reminder to get out next week and tidy up where you can.
Sweeping road edges – this will prevent grass cuttings getting washed into the drains and blocking them.
Grass edging – keeping our kerbs and pathways defined stops the grass taking over. Focus on areas where the grass has completely covered the edge of the path, in most cases a quick scrape is enough to remove the tuft.
Weeding – Unlike other estates in the area Dodderbrook is not managed by a private company. It’s up to residents to maintain flowerbeds etc. If you have flowerbeds around your home, help to maintain them, ask neighbours for help and remember plants and other materials and supports are available from the RA.
The RA will be replanting the plant boxes throughout Dodderbrook.
Bags and gloves are available and can be picked up from the planters @ Dodderbrook Wood.
