18th – 24th September
With Autumn now in full swing the residents association will be completing some jobs to keep the estate looking well for the winter months ahead.
We ask that residents get involved in any way you can. Instead of hosting a clean up day, this autumn please use your spare time between 18th – 24th September to undertake any tasks in and around your house and the areas around it, including –
- Sweep grass cuttings along road edge.
- Weed along road and in flowerbeds near your home,
- Collect litter.
- Edge grass.
RA committee members will be refreshing the planters throughout the estate over the week, we will also begin removing weeds in the visitor parking bays.
We will also be tending to the large planters on Dodderbrook Ave, we will harvest whatever vegetables we have and let you know what’s available to share(don’t forget you can grab salad leaves from the corner planter whenever you like).
Residents are welcome to apply for spring flowering bulbs from the RA. We will supply bulbs in the coming weeks. Please note, requests must be made to the RA by email or through the website. Please outline circa how many bulbs you require, where you wish to place them and any other associated information.
Bags and gloves will be available from the community garden area all week. Please deposit your green waste and litter at this location and we will arrange for SDCC to collect at the end of the week. Please ensure you separate all waste correctly.
As always if you need assistance or wish to help with any tasks don’t hesitate to contact the RA.

Watch this space for info on our upcoming Halloween celebrations. Drinks, fun for kids and maybe even a mini bonfire…
