A HUGE THANK YOU TO ALL WHO PARTICIPATED IN THE SPRING CLEAN!!

We got loads of jobs completed today. Including

Weeding and seeding the area between Dodderbrook and Littlemore and an area around the bridge with wildflowers

Cleaning the river and waterways around the estate –

We filled, planted and placed 18 planters throughout the estate –

We collected approx 20 bags of litter and green waste from around the estate –

The pathways near the playground on the gardens and along the park were edged to make them wider –

We ask that residents take responsibility for planters near their home, if you have spare flowers or bulbs please help out by adding to the new planters.

These planters will need regular watering during the summer months, please help out with this where possible.

The committee will continue to add plants and flowers to the planters with some unfortunately not fully finished today.

Again a huge thank you to all who came out to help today. The community spirit was brilliant!

Additionally a big thank you to the committee members involved today, who not only gave time and helped to prepare, but who donated timber, flowers, plants compost and more. Without the dedication of the committee volunteers none of this would happen.
