Dodderbrook Residents Association 2021

Dear Residents,

Thank you to all who attended the AGM held on 11th February.

Some points to note –

Development sub committee

Jonathan Flood has kindly offered to chair a sub committee to liaise with appropriate authorities in relation to issues arising from planning, Capami and other associated development within Dodderbrook.

This will include gathering information on outstanding issues and incomplete work.

We would be grateful to anyone who would be willing to assist Jonathan with this committee. If you would like to get involved please send us a mail at dodderbrook@gmail.com.

Social events

The committee will plan to host a number of social events this year, including –

A summer BBQ – 17th July
Halloween mulled wine event – 31st October
Christmas market – 12th December

Please not these events will only be confirmed when Covid restrictions are lifted and public gatherings are allowed.

Clean up days

We have had great success with clean up days over the past year and wish to continue this throughout 2021.

We intend to host clean up days on the below dates at 10am, we encourage you to save the date and get involved –

Spring – 13th March
Summer – 19th June
Autumn – 11th September

2021 projects

We have a number of projects planned for 2021 and with residents help we believe we can get these well established.

You can vote for the project you would most like to see happen here.

Additional points

The RA will continue to apply for grants to support our projects but out main source of funding comes from subscription. The decision has been made to keep this amount at €20 per household.
Please help by paying your 2021 subscription through the website.

The RA will work to erect Neighbourhood Watch Signs through the estate.

We will apply to SDCC to secure a salt bunker ahead of next winter to ensure the roads throughout the estate are safe.

If you would like to contact the RA for any reason please do so through the website or you can contact us directly at dodderbrook@gmail.com.

Kind regards,

Dodderbrook Residents Association
