Dear Witches and Wizards,
Soon enough Samhain, All Hallows Eve, Halloween will be upon us. Spooky little ones will be haunting the streets looking for someone to scare.
Trick or treating
This Halloween brings with it some new obligations, with outdoor gatherings prohibited, the Residents Association wishes to help people navigate this time of year.Local authorities are expected to release guidelines around safe trick or treating as well as other activities, but to be prepared we have created a printable poster for Residents.

This poster can be placed on your front door advising trick or treaters that you are having a contactless Halloween, instead of ringing the bell, little monsters and princesses are encouraged to help themselves to sweets placed in a bowl at the front door (don’t put all those sweets out at once).
Of course if you are happy to keep to the traditional methods please do remember to sanitise your hands and wear a mask.
The poster is available to download here.
Pumpkin Carving Contest

Once again we will be hosting our now annual Pumpkin Carving Contest.
Time to get creative, carve those pumpkins and be in with a chance of winning a bottle of wine and some chocolates for the grown ups.
All entries will be judged by the committee on Halloween night with the winning entry being announced on the website.
Kind regards,
DodderBrook Residents Association
