Dear residents,

As you’re all aware DodderBrook can be a windy area at times. With recent winds there has been additional rubbish throughout the estate that has come from overturned bins.

A number of residents have collected some of this additional waste as well as Capami, thank you to all who helped out.

Throughout the winter months this issue gets worse and bins do tend to overturn. If you suspect it will be windy, placing a weight on the bin lid will stop the lid lifting.

A great solution is child safety locks which are generally used around the home. These can be picked up on Amazon and can be an easy fix to keep your bins secure. Check them out here.
